3D Microblading

1554634607006.JPEG

3D Microblading Eyebrows is a two-step treatment, consisting of an initial procedure and then a touch up between 4-6 weeks after.  After taking your before photo, I will draw the brow design in pencil so you get an idea of shape and form. Once we have agreed on a final shape (ultimately it is your decision – but I will always voice my opinion on what I think suits you aesthetically), I will shape your eyebrows then we will decide on the color. Shortly after that, a topical anesthetic will be administered to ensure comfort. Once you’re numb, the pigment is deposited.

PRE & POST CARE

Immediately after the process, the brows are usually darker. The eyebrows stay that way for at least another two weeks.

After that the color subdues to a degree, giving the final permanent color.

Even looking dark, the eyebrows do not look ghastly on the day of the procedure. You can still socialize and go to work. Activities can be resumed right on the same day.

The colors of the pigment used are usually similar to your original eyebrow hair color. Thus, the hair strokes blend seamlessly into the existing hair.

Pre-Care:

  1. Try not to give excessive sunlight exposure to the area going to be treated.

  2.  Most dermatologists advise that you wear the usual makeup until the day of treatment.
  3.  Do not take aspirin two days before the treatment.
  4.  Do not discontinue any medication without consulting your doctor about the treatment.
  5.  Reduce alcohol intake and end it two days before the treatment.

Post-Care :

Microblading is absolutely safety procedure.  However, proper post-care is extremely important to ensure fast recovery and desire effect. Please follow the below guidelines:

Day 1:  4-5 hours after the procedure, clean the area with moisture sterile water (distilled water) cotton pad, gauze or cotton swab and allow to air dry.  Apply the post-care cream with a cotton swab and use no aggressive movement and/or manipulation of the skin.

Note:  Wash your hands with a disinfectant soap before washing your eyebrows and/or applying the post-care cream.

Day 2-10:  Do not wet your brows, even a small drop will expand a wound and a scab will appear. Please wash your face carefully around the eyebrows without getting water on the treated area. If you feel dust or discomfort on the treated area, wipe it gently with alcohol wipe.

  • If your skin is oily, make sure you keep your brows clean and dry, you can disinfect up to 3 times a day if needed.

  •  If your skin is dry, choose a non-alcohol based disinfectant to avoid additional dryness; you will only want to disinfect up to 2 times a day, over disinfecting will cause dryness.

  • Apply A&D ointment or Aquaphor healing ointment after 7 days of the treatment. It usually applied in the evening before sleep. Some clients might need to apply it 2 times per day. It will help to keep treated area moisturized and soft for the rest of the recovery period. Although, grape seed oil is the most popular and recommended, you can substitute it with sweet almond, jojoba or coconut oil. Avoid Petroleum Jelly or Vaseline as it can cause a reaction and block skin from breathing.

  • DO NOT rub, pick or scratch the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate off.

  • Tylenol needed for pain. NO Advil, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Aspirin, etc.

  •

What is to be avoided on treated area:

First 10 days:

  • Water, cleansers, creams, makeup or any other products.

  • Avoid workouts that involve a lot of sweating, sauna, facial, massage and steaming (inhalation).

In the next 30 days:

  • Sunbathing, solarium, light therapies, chemical peeling, fruit acids, microdermabrasion, cream that contain regeneration factors.

  • Always avoid laser treatments over the treated area (fraxel, laser, IPL) because they can destroy the pigment and cause burns.

  • Use of antibiotics and hormonal therapy can lead to a faster pigment fading, always protect the eyebrows from the sun with SPFs (not during the first 7 days).

Please follow the Microblading Post-care instructions carefully to prevent pigment loss. Call (847) 429-8717 or email us @ if you have any questions to make sure that you have the best eyebrows possible.
